Research title: VOICE AND STANCE IN EFL ACADEMIC WRITING

Research Summary

My research interest is grounded in my academic career as an educational linguist, particularly within higher education contexts. It centers on teaching English in both EFL and ESL settings, drawing inspiration from Functional Linguistics Pedagogy theories. My research areas encompass:

  • Language acquisition and learning
  • Academic language development among learners
  • Multilingualism and its influence on education
  • The interplay between language and identity
  • The dynamics of language and power
  • Language and evaluation practices

Biography

Prior to pursuing my PhD in English Language and Linguistics at the University of Glasgow, I held a teaching position in TESOL at Yogyakarta State University, Indonesia.
