Research Summary
Reese's research is focused on the representation of disability and disabled people on the early modern stage. Reese centres her work around the social model of disability which argues that disability is socially constructed. Her current research project investigates the embodiment of disability from an intersectional perspective that examines the overlap between representations of disability and other identities based on socioeconomic status, race, and gender.
