Research title: Place under threat: Mapping the Lived Experience of Young Palestinians
Research Summary
My doctoral project focuses on understanding the sense of place of young Palestinians living in Palestine, examining how spatial threats and destruction affect their emotional connections to the land, their imaginative geographies of Palestine, and their agency in navigating their homeland. By centering the lived experiences of Palestinians, the project aims to contribute to debates surrounding the meanings of place and resistance within indigenous communities.
