Research title: Identification of genomic components that predict the transmission of the malaria parasite

Research Summary

Research interests

My research interests are focused on transmission dynamics of the human malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum in a diverse range of vector species. My work studies the interaction between parasite and vector, their global diversity and co-evolution. Specifically I am currently working on ellucidating the influence of vector heterogenicity and parasite genotype on transmission of malaria.
