Research title: Holding the front line – maintaining barrier integrity in the mouth

Research Summary

My current project is looking into host-microbes interactions at the oral mucosal barrier. It involves developing a 3D in vitro model of a healthy gingiva that can be disrupted, restored and made more resilient.
