Research title: Public Private Partnerships in Cyber Capacity Building

Research Summary

Joséphine's project analyses the implementation of the 2014 African Union Convention on Cybersecurity and Personal Data Protection towards the realisation of public-private partnerships. At focus are the standards for government leadership and citizen rights protection in cyber capacity building under Chapter 3 of the Convention.

In addition to her PhD research, Joséphine is the convenor of 'NEU Introduction to Sociology', and she took the lead on the pilot study review for the Decolonising the School of Law Forum discussing the curriculum of the LL.B., LL.M., and Diploma. Between November 2022 and June 2024, Joséphine acted as conference co-manager for ELINET (Education, Languages, and Internationalisation Network) at the University of Glasgow.
