Research title: Computational Intelligence for algorithmic support of teams in data-intensive contexts

Research Summary

My current research is on human-artificial intelligence interaction, looking at how we can build computational models to help people work better with complex systems, maintaining optimal workload. Specific themes within my research include workload, teaming, and human-in-the-loop systems. Currently, I am looking at the use of variational autoencoders to reduce the dimensionality in observation and control of complex systems, such as swarms of drones.
