Research title: Multimodal Mimicry Modelling in Human Interaction and Its Applications
Research Summary
Updated on September 8, 2024:
Even when you're not aware of it, human mimicry occurs constantly. It influences our everyday interactions in a subtle but significant way. Nevertheless, existing rule-based statistical approaches are not able to fully comprehend it, let alone automatically model it or even employ it in practical settings.
My research attempts to automatically model human mimicry using multimodal machine learning and apply it to a comprehension of human social behaviour.
About me:
Hey, it's Jingjing here. I'm a member of the Behavioural-AI Lab at the University of Glasgow. I'm striving to be a hard-working PhD student by reading and thinking every day. Pretty much the same as the rest of the world's PhD students, but I am a genuine believer in my research interests and devote myself to them. Hope my research means something. I myself think it does mean something though.
Feel free to contact me if anything intriguing pops up to your mind ; )
