Research title: The effect of channel confinement on long term flood risk in dynamic river systems
Research Summary
Current Research
My research interests are in river hydrology and hydraulics. I am currently researching the hydraulics and flood risks on the Karnali River in Nepal. This is an extremely dynamic river in the Himalayas which is facing pressure from climate change and local development needs.
Research Groups
I work within the Water & Environment Group and also the Rivers Research Cluster at Glasgow University.
