Research title: The impact of nutritional therapy on clinical response, the immune system and gut microbiota in patients with Crohn’s disease and healthy adults

Research Summary

My research investigates the impact of using nutritional therapy alongside standard therapy with biologics in the induction and maintenance of remission of Crohn's disease. Further to this, I am exploring the underlying mechanistics of this therapy combination through investigating the gut microbiota composition and function in subsets of Crohn's disease patients and healthy volunteers.
