Research title: Externalization of Migration Control: International Legal Guarantees against the Erosion of Refugee Protection
Research Summary
As a dedicated reader, author, and researcher in the field of international public law as in fundamental human rights, refugee and asylum seeker`s rights and international conflicts, my current PhD research focuses over external migration control methods and the erosion of the fundamental rights of refugees against international legal guarentees.
The considerable research question in need of explanation is how the international legal guarantees can protect the erosion of refugee protection which emerges as a consequence of externalization practices from the perspective of the Refugee Convention (1951) and other premise international conventions, as well as multilateral agreements and human rights instruments.
