Research title: The health and wellbeing impacts of the energy transition for low-income renters: a comparative UK-Australia study
Research Summary
My PhD project focuses on the household energy needs of low-income renters, and the health co-benefits that can be generated by decarbonising solutions. The project is a comparative study between the UK (Glasgow) and Australia (Sydney) and the research is conducted jointly between University of Glasgow and The University of Sydney.
My research interests are focused on the disproportionate impacts of climate change on humans from a justice perspective, low carbon energy, the capability approach, and wider social, political and economic inequalities.
