The University of Glasgow is positioned in the top 100 world universities for the sixth year running. It has also consolidated its position as 10th in the United Kingdom.

The Times Higher Education World Rankings are the most comprehensive set of rankings in Higher Education that include 2092 universities across 115 countries and regions. Trusted worldwide by students, teachers, governments and industry experts, the rankings give an annual review of the global higher education landscape.

Professor Sir Anton Muscatelli, Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Glasgow said: “Once again, it is fantastic to see that the University has been ranked in the top 100 in the THE World University Rankings.

“These rankings are an important benchmark of Higher Education institutions globally, and it is an incredible achievement to consolidate our position, particularly given the number of institutions from around the world joining the table for the first time.

“I would like to thank everyone that contributes to making the University the world-changing institution that it is today, and to ensuring our year-on-year success.”
