- Dentistry, Geology and Teacher Training outright top in the UK.
- Molecular Biology, Biophysics and Biochemistry, Zoology and Social Policy joint top in UK.
- Top or joint top in Scotland in 13 separate subject areas.

I therefore want commend and thank all my colleagues who do so much to enable our students to receive world-class teaching and support and the very best learning experience possible.
“While I am sure we are all delighted with this overall outcome, we will continue to strive to improve our performance even further by listening to the invaluable feedback we receive through this survey and through our ongoing interaction with the student community.”
Professor Frank Coton, Vice Principal Learning and Teaching at the University of Glasgow said: “This outstanding result shows that the University of Glasgow continues to offer one of the best student experiences available, not just in Scotland but across the whole of the UK.
Everyone at the University works hard to ensure that our students enjoy a top-quality learning experience, receive world-class teaching and support, and have access to the best facilities on campus and I thank them for their efforts.”
The NSS canvasses the opinions of around 265,000 final-year students at Higher Education Institutions across the UK. Students were asked to respond to over twenty questions on topics such as teaching, personal development, assessment and feedback, learning resources and the management of their University.
