The University Court has approved the appointment of Professor Neal Juster as Senior Vice-Principal and Deputy Vice-Chancellor.
The University of Glasgow Court has approved the appointment of Professor Neal Juster as Senior Vice-Principal and Deputy Vice-Chancellor from 1 July 2013 until 31 July 2016. He succeeds Professor Andrea Nolan who leaves the University at the end of June to take up her post as Principal and Vice Chancellor of Edinburgh Napier University. Professor Juster will continue to hold the Strategy and Budgeting portfolio in his new role.
The Principal, Professor Anton Muscatelli said "Neal Juster will bring considerable experience and expertise to the post of Senior Vice-Principal. I look forward to working closely with Neal in his new role as my Deputy.
"We will be advertising internally and externally for a Vice-Principal (Internationalisation) in due course, looking for an appointment towards the end of this calendar year.
"In the interim, given the critical importance of internationalisation to the University's strategy, I will cover this portfolio which has been vacated with Andrea Nolan's departure.”
