Graham Donaldson is to join the School of Education as a Honorary Professor in a joint venture between the Scottish Government and the School of Education at the University of Glasgow.
Graham Donaldson is to join the School of Education as a Honorary Professor in a joint venture between the Scottish Government and the School of Education at the University of Glasgow.
Professor Donaldson, who recently completed his comprehensive review of teacher education in Scotland, will take up his post at the beginning of April.
Currently President of the Standing International Conference of Inspectorates, Professor Donaldson joined Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Education in 1983 where he rose to become Her Majesty's Senior Chief Inspector of Education and the Chief Professional Adviser to the Scottish Government. Professor Donaldson was made a Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath (CB) for his services to education in the 2009 Queen’s Birthday Honours List.
