The University of Glasgow Business School has broken into the prestigious Beyond Grey Pinstripes league table of the top 100 business schools in the world.
A research survey and alternative ranking of business schools, Beyond Grey Pinstripes spotlights innovative full-time MBA programs leading the way in the integration of issues concerning social and environmental stewardship into the curriculum. The listed business schools are recognised for preparing students for the reality of tomorrow's markets by equipping them with the social, environmental, ethical and economic perspectives required for business success in a competitive and fast changing world.
Angus Laing, Head of the University of Glasgow Business School said: "The Glasgow MBA Programme aims to provide high quality postgraduate business education focused on developing the business leaders of the future. We are delighted that such a well-respected research survey as Beyond Grey Pinstripes has recognised the ongoing achievements of the University of Glasgow Business School in this way."
The University of Glasgow Business School was one of the highest ranking UK institutions placed 71st in the list.
The Beyond Grey Pinstripes is unique in the business world as it looks at management education from the perspective of what business needs, instead of what students, administrators, or even recruiters might prefer. The survey seeks to identify the business schools that have taken the greatest strides to prepare their students to manage the complex social, environmental, and ethical issues they will face in their business careers. Beyond Grey Pinstripes is also the only survey to focus directly on research, courses, and extracurricular activities at each business school
