Glasgow student wins European event

Business and Management student Pamela Pretswell has won the Swiss International Women's Amateur Golf Championship at Lucerne.
Business and Management student Pamela Pretswell has won the Swiss International Women's Amateur Golf Championship at Lucerne.
Having narrowly made the cut, Pamela scored two five-under-par rounds to win the event by one shot with a total of 284.
Winning the event has earned Pamela an invitation to the 2009 Ladies European Tour Deutsche Bank Ladies' Swiss Open in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Pamela is a member of the Scotland Ladies Golf Team and the University of Glasgow Golf Scholarship Scheme supported by the R&A, which aims to support talented golfers manage the demands of competing in sport at the highest level whilst undertaking a University degree.
