TV executive and Scottish football pundit, Stuart Cosgrove spoke on the subject of ‘Television in times of change’ in a lecture on Thursday, sponsored by The Herald newspaper.

In the second lecture in the prestigious Stevenson and Adam Smith Research Foundation series – which this year is on the theme of ‘Citizenship and the Role of the Media’ - Stuart Cosgrove Director of Channel 4 (Nations and Regions) looked back at 25 Years of Channel 4's unique contribution to British broadcasting with reference to the company's key values: do it first, make trouble and inspire change.

Professor Rachel Gibson will deliver the third lecture in the series on 13 December on the subject: 'New Forms of Political Communication: new Citizens?'
