Austria and the Holocaust: Coming to terms with the past?
6th Holocaust Memorial Lecture
Tuesday, January 24, 2006 from 6:15-7:30pm
Western Infirmary Lecture Theatre

Dr Knight will describe the extent of Austrian involvement in the Holocaust, how and why that involvement was denied/repressed in post-war-Austria, and whether/to what extent that denial/repression has changed in recent years. He will then draw some conclusions about change in Austrian attitudes to the Holocaust.

Dr Robert Knight, Department of Politics, International Relations and European Studies, University of Loughborough

The lecture, the 6th in this prestigious series, is free and open to all without ticket.
