The Tower 5 lifts will be out of service this summer to allow complete refurbishment to take place.

From Saturday 25 June until end of September, the Tower 5 lifts will be closed. The Central lifts and both sets of stairs will be available for Library users.

For access to Special Collections on Level 12, readers should take the Central lifts to Level 11 and follow the direction signs to the Tower 5 stairs.

Changes to the Library entrance - Monday 27 June - Friday 15 July

Starting on Monday 27 June, the Library's turnstile entry system will be replaced to allow access using the new University Smartcards.

The entrance to the Library will be closed for this period. Library users will be directed to an alternative entrance with temporary security gates.
