The Sustainable Development Event, hosted by Dialogues on April 22nd, will bring together over 120 academics and SMEs to listen to guest speakers on Scotland's renewable energy sources, and the research that is needed to encourage a robust renewable energy industry.

Speakers at this event include Professors from the University's Engineering Faculty as well as guest speakers from Scottish Power, the Office of Gas & Electricity Markets (OFGEM), and the Scottish Executive.

The event will provide the perfect networking opportunity to allow SMEs to interact with leading academics, learn about funding opportunities and how to access the wealth of knowledge of the University of Glasgow through the Dialogues initiative.

The response for this Eevent has been very positive, and there are high numbers from industry and other universities due to attend. However, the GU presence only accounts for approximately 15% and we would like to encourage more attendees from within the University.

All interested university staff are welcome to attend. To register, please contact dialogues@enterprise.gla.ac.uk or call 0141 330 8643.

Dialogues is supported by ERDF, Scottish Enterprise and Glasgow City Council.
