The Special Collections book of the month for February features the acclaimed 'Hypnerotomachia Poliphili', printed in Venice in 1499.

One of the most beautiful works to be produced in the Italian Renaissance, the title roughly translates as the 'Strife of love in a dream' and tells the torturous tale of love-lorn Poliphilo. Is it all a dream or does it all end happily ever after?
