Removal of trees

As part of ongoing work to restore the Bower building, three trees which face on to University Avenue need to be removed. They will be replaced as part of the redevelopment.
Unfortunately, it is necessary to remove three trees that face on to University Avenue at the Bower Building, in order to facilitate the remedial works that are ongoing.
These trees are being removed with the approval of the statutory authorities, and will be replaced as part of the redevelopment. All are estimated to be less than 50 years old, and are judged to be in "bad form".
This work will be completed today (June 18th).
