We all thrive when we are empowered to focus on what really matters.
That’s why the University of Glasgow is bringing together specialist teams, to put our colleague and student communities at the heart of what we do.
Together, we’re implementing new solutions to age old problems, supporting our colleagues to pursue their academic missions, and making our University fit for tomorrow.
We bring together diverse individuals from across the University of Glasgow, to tackle complex challenges.
By working collaboratively, we empower our colleagues and students to pioneer innovative and sustainable solutions that make our University fit for the future, in an ever-changing world. Our vision is that by weaving change into the fabric of our University and celebrating it within our culture, we help the institution to deliver on its strategic ambitions.
When we do that in partnership with our students and colleagues, there's no limit to the impact we can have – not just locally, but nationally and even globally.
“We believe that when individuals are empowered to focus on what truly matters to them, everyone thrives. That’s why the University of Glasgow is making significant investments in the experiences of both our colleagues and students through a series of ambitious, strategic change initiatives.
"By delivering these projects together, we are creating an environment where everyone can dedicate themselves to what really matters - our core academic missions: achieving excellence in research, teaching, and in providing the best possible student experience.
"Our transformation journey is led by a team with a range of specialist skills and capabilities, who work in partnership with colleagues across the institution to ensure the University of Glasgow is not only an exceptional place to learn, but also a great place to work"
David Duncan, Chief Operating Officer, and University Secretary
