Unite at UoG

Unite is one of the four recognised campus trade unions, representing hundreds of workers at the University of Glasgow as the largest support staff union, and the largest HE Branch in Scotland.

Our membership is primarily composed of the Technical & Specialist and Operational job families, but we also represent a large number of MPA and Research & Teaching staff and postgraduates, with membership ranging from Cleaners to Professors. All UoG staff and postgraduates may join Unite.

We are a democratic and lay-member run union, and would urge any and all members of staff to join us and play an active role in shaping the University.
