Why this review is important

The University of Glasgow’s UKVI Sponsor Licence, and our ability to sponsor international students, is dependent on accurate and timely attendance monitoring. Implementing a consistent process university-wide will reduce the potential risks of legal penalties and operational inefficiencies. The review of UKVI Attendance Monitoring is a quick way to make a positive change to a well-defined problem.

A collaborative approach

A multi-disciplined team are working closely alongside colleagues in Registry, subject matter experts (SMEs) and leadership teams across all Colleges and University Services to identify current processes and design a future consistent process with robust design principles.

Please look out for further updates and communications over the coming months.
