Pre-implementation

Dear colleagues,

We are excited to provide you with an update about MyGrades as we look ahead in preparation for Semester 1 of the new academic year.

The project team, in collaboration with the college colleagues, is working towards a successful phased implementation of a Student Dashboard, Gradebook, and MyGrades. 

‌Here are the key points you need to know:

Pre-implementation

 Phase 1 (June - Aug):

  • All staff responsible for credit-bearing courses on Moodle are required to set up Gradebook within a new template, in preparation for Semester 1. 
  • This change is necessary to ensure consistency and accuracy.  
  • Upskilling session on the new Gradebook set up, will take place on  25th July . It is critical that all staff responsible for credit bearing courses, attend. 

 Phase 2 (Semester 1 AY 24/25)

  • This phase will involve a group of Early Adopters and current GCAT users, from all colleges. Our Early Adopters will help us test and refine the system before a wider rollout.‌

LISU Upskilling Sharepoint

The Deans of Learning and Teaching & Directors of Professional Services are working closely with us, we recognise there may be College challenges, and we would ask if you have specific questions relating to your programme area or course, you reach out to them in the first instance.
