Readiness for Semester 1
Dear colleagues,
Readiness for Semester 1 - action required
In preparation for the Student MyGrades Dashboard launch, and the start of Semester 1, LISU Upskilling sessions are taking place to introduce Moodle users to the functionality ofGradebook and its implications to the new Student MyGrades Dashboard.
Setting up Gradebook is the first phase in the MyGrades process and must becompleted for all courses—whether you use MyGrades or not. The StudentMyGrades view will show course information from Moodle Gradebook and MyGrades.
Sign up to one of 2 live sessions on Gradebook setup delivered by the Learning Innovation Support Unit.
Wednesday 28 August, 2pm
Wednesday 4 September, 2pm
It is critical that all staff responsible for credit bearing courses attend one of these sessions as Gradebook setup will directly impact the accuracy of grades displayed on the Student MyGrades.
Early Adopters
We are pleased to announce a group of Early Adopters and existing GCAT users have been identified and during Semester 1 will help us test and refine the Moodle plugin before a wider rollout.
To find out more about MyGrades, visit the LISU Sharepoint or project web page for information, resources, and historical communications.
