Form 2: Academic View

A course I expect to see in my list is missing:

There could be several reasons for this. The incorrect Course Lead contact may be listed therefore it is appearing on someone else’s list. Or we have been notified that the course does not require timetabled events on CMIS or will not be running in AY 25/26. We are also not including external or RSD courses.

If you believe an existing course should be listed, please check with your local timetabler in the first instance.

I cannot add more than one Course Lead / Convenor:

This is correct, only one course lead/convenor can be added. This should be the staff member responsible for the timetabling of the course. If this is done in collaboration with another academic, please liaise with them directly before completing the form.

I changed the name of the person assigned to the ‘Course Lead/Convenor’ field and now the course has disappeared from my list:

You will only see courses you are ‘assigned’. Form 2 assigns permissions to see courses based on the persons assigned in the fields ‘Course Lead/Convenor’ and ‘Professional Services Contact’. Therefore, if at any time you or another user removed your name from these fields, then your permissions to review this course will also have been removed. If your name was removed in error, please contact your local timetabler to rectify this.

Should I put in changes to individual events in the free text box when requesting my changes?

The free text box is intended to allow you to give a brief summary of the changes you would like. The local timetabler will then contact you to gather the specifics of your changes.

I have confirmed the course details in error, can this be changed?

Yes, you can click back into the course card and edit your changes. The forms will be available until the 28th March. If corrections/edits are required after this date, please contact your local timetabler.

If I leave a comment, will my local timetabler be notified?

Yes, if you directly tag them using the ‘@’ function a notification will be sent via email.
