Intercampus travel - Garscube to Gilmorehill

Option 1 - Bus along Switchback Road

CityBus 15, from all stops at Switchback Road to all stops on University Avenue.

This is the most direct connection between the campuses.

First Bus M4 (from Switchback Road, near Anniesland Cross, to corner Byres Road/University Avenue), McGills 118 (from Switchback Road to Gartnavel Hospitals, at Great Western Road) and First Bus 6/6A (from Anniesland Cross to corner Byres Road/Great Western Road) also go part of the route.

Option 2 - Walk, Train, Subway

  1. Walk 10 min from campus entrance at Switchback Road at Home Farm to Westerton Station, or 20 minutes from campus entrance at Ilay Road to Anniesland Station
  2. At Westerton or Anniesland Station, take train to Partick Station
  3. At Partick Station, change from train to Subway to Hillhead

Option 3 - Bus along Maryhill Road

  1. Take First 60/60A or CityBus 17 from all stops at Maryhill Road at Garscube campus, up to corner Maryhill Road and Queen Margaret Drive.
  2. At corner Maryhill Road/Queen Margaret Drive, change for First Bus 8 or 90 along Queen Margaret Drive up to corner Byres Road/University Avenue.
