Reslife Adventures FAQs
What are Reslife Adventures?
Reslife Adventures are hassle-free return coach trips for students living in university accommodation to make friends and visit bucket-list locations across Scotland. Residence Life Assistants attend each adventure so that students have a friendly and familiar point of contact to provide support and help them to break the ice.
Who can attend a Reslife Adventure?
Reslife Adventures are open to students who have a current contract of accommodation with the University of Glasgow, including Firhill Court, Thurso Street, Kelvin Court, and university-owned residences.
Current residents can also invite up to 2 guests, provided:
- Each guest is a current University of Glasgow student,
- The resident is responsible for their guest(s), and
- The resident must complete payment on behalf of their guest(s).
This is because only current residents have access to pay for tickets via MyCampus.
Current residents who stay in family accommodation can invite family members who reside with them in university accommodation. Please contact reslife-adventures@glasgow.ac.uk to discuss the booking beforehand.
I do not live in university accommodation. Can I still join?
University of Glasgow students who do not live in university accommodation can attend the Reslife Adventures as the guest of a resident.
Current residents can invite up to 2 guests, provided:
- Each guest is a current University of Glasgow student,
- The resident is responsible for their guest(s), and
- The resident must complete payment on behalf of their guest(s).
This is because only current residents have access to pay for tickets via MyCampus.
Current residents who stay in family accommodation can invite family members who reside with them in university accommodation. Please contact reslife-adventures@glasgow.ac.uk to discuss the booking beforehand.
As non-residents do not have access to pay for tickets via MyCampus, which is the only payment method, students who are not current residents or the guests of current residents are unable to attend.
