The University is exploring plans to transform Lilybank Gardens. This project aims to redevelop the existing hardstanding area, currently used for parking, into a sympathetic, inclusive, student-centred hub, featuring modern accommodation and accessible public spaces.

The new proposal aims to ensuring that the West End of Glasgow remains a vibrant community even after lectures end.

We are running some open consultation sessions associated with the student accommodation proposal at Lilybank Gardens.   There are two public consultation events planned; the dates are:

  • Monday 13 January
  • Monday 10 February

Both events will take place in the ARC and people are able to drop in any time between 3 and 7pm, in the main lobby of ARC on ground floor.  People will be able to find out more details on the proposals via some exhibition boards, speak to the team and/or provide feedback.
