The university tower with trees all around, viewed from a park trail
Student mental health continues to be a priority and this year, the Wellbeing & Inclusion team have added another innovation to its range of services.

In partnership with Greater Glasgow & Clyde Health Board, UofG is the first university in Scotland (and one of only a handful in the UK), to develop a partnership model with the NHS. A Community Psychiatric Nurse from the NHS’s Community Mental Health Team is now co-employed by the Health Board and University and is working with the university counselling team to ensure the prompt and effective referral of students to the most appropriate service for their needs.

This is improving the speed and ease of referral to specialist services, getting the most appropriate help to our students in a timely manner, supporting continued study and student life as seamlessly as possible.
The service is accessed via referral from the Counselling & Wellbeing team.
