Network Programme: Upgrading the UofG Library Network

Work is ongoing to improve the university library network
Work is currently underway to upgrade the UofG Library network. The Library team are working closely with Network Programme specialists to minimise any disruption, but you may notice workers moving around the building, and occasionally a small area may need to be closed off.
If you need to borrow or refer to books in a closed area, we will offer a click and collect service where possible, so you can order the books you need without having to browse the shelves.
Benefits of the network upgrade:
- Faster WiFi
- More reliable connections
- A more secure network
We will share updates on our UofGLibrary X and Instagram accounts, and signs will be placed around the building. If you have any questions, just ask one of our friendly Reach Out Ambassadors.
