The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) have a variety of events and activities designed to encourage you to take a break, get some breathing space, and hopefully lower stress levels during the exam period.
Preparing for exams and working toward deadlines can be pretty stressful and exhausting, especially when nearing the end of the year, or even your time at university.
The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) have a variety of events and activities designed to encourage you to take a break, get some breathing space, and hopefully lower stress levels during the exam period.
Events
On their Exam De-stress webpage you'll be able to find a calendar of all the events and content that are planned. You'll be able to sign up for free and take part in as many or as few activities as you like. Keep checking back throughout the exam period for new events.
The exam period can put an added strain on your mental health. You can visit the SRC’s Look After Yourself page to download a guide on how best to support your mental health, or visit the University Counselling and Psychological Services (CAPS) for wellbeing support.
The SRC is there to support you throughout the studying and exam period, and their Advice Centre has loads of great exam guidance and tips if you’re feeling the strain. You can also contact the SRC Advice Centre about a range of issues and receive free, impartial and confidential advice: advice@src.gla.ac.uk
Take care of each other and stay safe! If you have any great de-stress tips that you'd like to share with other students, please let the SRC know by emailing vp-support@src.gla.ac.uk
