The John Smith Centre has launched its next round of applications for its Parliamentary Internship Programme due to take place in 2025. The programme offers internships with MSPs from three Parliamentary regions: Greater Glasgow, North East of Scotland and South of Scotland. It is open to 2024/25 undergraduate honours level students at Scottish universities and there’s no age restriction.

  • A 10 week paid placement with an MSP in their constituency or regional office
  • Open to all 2024/25 junior and senior honours level undergraduate students at Scottish Universities
  • Flexible working pattern (7 hrs per week)

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience and insight into public service and political processes in Scotland!
