Purpose: The primary goal of our EDI blog series is to raise awareness, foster understanding, and promote actionable steps for creating a more inclusive learning, teaching and workplace environment.

Why We Want You: We believe that your unique perspective and expertise can make a valuable contribution to this important conversation. Your voice can help inspire change and empower our readers with practical insights and strategies.

What We're Looking For: We welcome contributions on a wide range of topics related to EDI, including but not limited to:

  • Personal experiences and stories related to diversity and inclusion.
  • Tips for addressing bias and stereotypes.
  • Recommendations for creating safe spaces for open dialogue.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Blog posts should be between 300-500 words.
  • Include a brief author bio and headshot.
  • We encourage the use of visuals, such as images and infographics.

Important Dates:

  • To register your interest, please email Dr Nighet Riaz (Nighet.Riaz@glasgow.ac.uk) by the 31st October, sharing a title for your blog and what you would like to write about.
  • Deadline for article submission: 8th January 2024
  • Publication of the EDI blog series/blog: TBC
