StartUp Factory Weekend
After a succesful beginning as a collaboration between the Adam Smith Business School, the School of Computer Science, University of Glasgow Student Enterprise and Glasgow School of Art in 2018, the events continued for a five successful years through 2023.
The 6th annual StartUp Factory Weekend will return this academic year with support from the UK Alzheimer's Society. Running from 17:30 Friday 16 February - 16:00 Sunday 18 February 2024, the weekend will see multi-disciplinary teams battle it out to win exciting prizes.
Featuring workshop sessions to develop your skills, and culminating in a team pitch to a panel of judges, this weekend long event promises to be a whistle stop tour through taking a business idea to fruition.

You can apply as individuals or as pre-existing teams. Being in a team is not necessary prior to application. Those who apply as individuals will be allocated to a team beforehand.
