Transforming Research Management

About the project

Research is one of the University’s core activities and accounts for around 38% of our income.  In order for the University to build its global reputation and attract talented researchers, it is important for us to be able to offer world class research management support to our academics.

In consultation with key stakeholders we are delivering a new end to end process by developing and implementing:

• a new system
• new dedicated support roles and structures
• new procedures
• training and development

 The changes will deliver improvements which will enhance the support we offer from the proposal stage through to final reporting for academics across the entire University.
