Ali wins poster prize at the IST Conference 2019

Mohammad Ali Salik submitted a poster titled: ‘Tiny biomarkers reveal ancient climate’ showcasing the research carried out in the BECS research group he is part of in the School of Geographical & Earth Sciences.
The IST (Institute of Science and Technology) Conference 2019 took place in Birmingham on 18 Sep 2019. It was a hugely successful event with delegates from most the UK universities attending this conference. There was a poster exhibition in the conference. Mohammad Ali Salik submitted a poster titled: ‘Tiny biomarkers reveal ancient climate’ showcasing the research carried out in the BECS research group he is part of in the School of Geographical & Earth Sciences. Due to the number of posters submitted, competition was very tough and a panel of judges marked all the posters. Ali won a poster prize at the Conference which is great acknowledgement of the fantastic research carried out in the BECS research group he is part of and at the University and the role our technical staff play in making it all happen.
