Leesman Office Survey information
Who are Leesman?
Leesman helps organisations create better workplaces that allow employees to perform at their peak.
Leesman are the world leader in measuring the effectiveness of corporate workplaces and the Leesman Office benchmarks are generated from the largest contemporary database of workplace performance data with 54,000+ respondents to date. Based on the principles of post-occupancy evaluation, it was created to offer clients easy access to empirical performance data, to better understand how the design and management of commercial office environments is impacting on organisational performance.
As we now hold the largest comparable independent data set on workplace performance, we are able to offer line-by-line benchmark comparisons on the results. This gives clients and their consultants an unrivalled ability to compare the findings from their workplaces with thousands of others at the same time. Our survey collects detailed diagnostic performance data, which is then housed in a powerful online environment we call Leesman Analytics.
What is Leesman Office?
Leesman Office provides a standardised ‘occupancy evaluation’ technique that gives a clear measure of the ability of university buildings to support the staff they accommodate. The survey will take between 11-15 minutes for staff to complete.
What does the survey ask?
The survey looks at which work activities are important to employees and questions how each is supported by the workplace. We then probe the impact of the overall Workplace Design on corporate image, culture, sense of pride, enjoyment, community and productivity. Answers from these two sections are then used to calculate a single transferable performance indicator of functionality and effectiveness: the Leesman ‘Lmi’.
We then examine satisfaction with the important Physical Features – the things people need – and then lastly the important Facilities Services - the things that keep a space working.
Are the responses confidential?
Yes, completely anonymous. No response can ever be linked back to an individual respondent.
