How do I join UofG Sport as a student? Please read before joining
To join UofG Sport as a University of Glasgow student, you need to be fully matriculated and have your student card and GUID credentials.
You can join in person at Front Desk at the Stevenson Building or Garscube Sports Complex.
To join online, please follow the three-step process outlined below.
Please read the following carefully *before* starting the joining process.
Step 1 – create UofG Sport account
To join, you must first create a UofG Sport account using your University email and GUID password.
This brings your personal details over from the University's main student database into the UofG Sport system, so that you do not have to enter any of your personal information manually.
If you find yourself entering personal details manually at any point in the joining process (such as name, email address, date of birth etc.) then stop – this means you're not logged in to your UofG Sport account, which already has these details.
Step 2 – create UofG Sport password (different from GUID password)
Once you've create your UofG Sport account, you need to create a password that is specific to UofG Sport.
Your GUID password will not allow you to access your UofG Sport account – you must set a seperate password that you'll use for UofG Sport only.
To set your UofG Sport password, you can use the button below. You'll need to enter your University email address, and then you'll be sent an email with a password reset link.
The link will expire after a while, but if that happens you can just generate a new password reset email using the same button below.
Step 3 – log in and purchase your membership
Once you've created your UofG Sport account and set a UofG Sport password, you must now log into that account using the button below and select Add a membership now.
If you're unsure of which membership to purchase, you can see all student membership options here.
To proceed with joining, please use the buttons below to complete each step.
Step 1 – create UofG Sport account
Step 2 – create UofG Sport password
Step 3 – log in and purchase membership

You can also add a Plus One to your Payroll membership via the UofG Helpdesk, with the Plus One's membership costing the same as yours i.e. £25 per month for one member, £50 per month for two members.

Community and GUConnect members only can use a personal email address.
If you've forgotten your UofG Sport you can reset it any time here.
Why am I not receiving password reset emails?
It could be that the password reset emails are being picked up by your junkmail/spam filters.

You can find your UofG Sport membership number by logging in to the UofG Sport app and selecting Accounts from the dropdown menu:
