Clarity
Clarity helps us to understand our users’ behaviour by visually representing their clicks, taps and scrolling. All data is anonymised.
We deliver lectures and workshops timetabled into your credit-bearing modules on issues relating to academic development, academic writing, and mathematical & statistical capability across all subject areas.
We deliver open classes, which any students are free to drop into. Students don't need to sign up in advance. They can come to as many or as few as they like.
We offer 1:1 appointments for students who still have questions or specific pieces of work to discuss.
Our staff are research-active in the area of learner development, and the Chair of the Scottish Higher Education Learner Developers' network currently sits with Dr Andrew Struan, the Head of SLD.
