SLD Strategy
Student Learning Development (SLD) exists to:
- Work with all students to develop their research, writing and study skills, their maths, stats and data handling abilities, and their graduate attributes
- Embed best academic practice and understanding of academic integrity amongst our students
- Enhance the student experience through targeted, bespoke, and tailored academic provision
- Ease and smooth transition into, through, and out of UofG
- Produce 21st-century graduates capable of meeting modern challenges
- Promote, foster, and embed innovation in pedagogical practice across the institution
- Lead the Learning Development sector locally, nationally, and globally
- Aid the institution in meeting the challenges of the Learning and Teaching Strategy and the Student Experience Strategy
