Research Governance
The central Research Governance and Integrity team is based in Research Services Directorate. We can help researchers assess any proposed activities and communicate any issues researchers should be aware and considerate of.
Note: There may be other emerging issues that the Research Governance and Integrity team needs to check. Legislation, case law and guidance is always evolving as is our understanding, and therefore our guidance and approaches may change.
If a licence application or an NSI notification is required, the Research Governance and Integrity team will request further information. We escalate issues to the Trusted Research Advisory Panel and provide them with supporting information to make a decision on the appropriate action required.
Contact us on compliance-support@glasgow.ac.uk.

Research Integrity or Misconduct
For staff and students, the first point of contact is your local Integrity Champion or Adviser.
If you do not feel this is appropriate in your case, a formal allegation can be raised with Prof Martin Hendry, Clerk of Senate (research-integrity@glasgow.ac.uk).
Anyone external to the University wishing to report suspected research misconduct should contact Prof Martin Hendry. To report integrity or misconduct complaints please email research-integrity@glasgow.ac.uk.
For general enquiries or for initial advice please contact Amanda McKenna (Research Integrity Adviser [misconduct]).
For training, contact Elinor Toland (Research Integrity Adviser, Training and Communication)
