UKRI cross-research council responsive mode Round 2 2024
UKRI has now published the pre-announcement for Round 2 of the UKRI Cross-Research Council Responsive Mode call.
As with the previous round, UKRI is looking to fund breakthrough or disruptive interdisciplinary ideas that transcend, combine or significantly span disciplines that are not routinely funded through existing UKRI responsive mode schemes. Awards will be potentially transformative for the participating disciplines or lead to the creation of new disciplines.
However, in a key change from the previous iteration, there is now an element of demand management and the University of Glasgow is capped at twelve submissions. Important dates in the University process for demand management can be found below.

To help us manage numbers and reviewers on a tight time scale, we strongly encourage you let us know you are interested by replying by 1700 on 27th August. |

EDI monitoring
All candidates submitting an EoI to the University of Glasgow will receive an e-mail inviting them to complete an EDI diversity monitoring survey. This is for the purpose of submitting a host inclusive selection statement to UKRI in November 2024, at the same time as when the call closes. More information will follow shortly.
