Internal Peer Review College at UofG

Peer review is an excellent development opportunity and a means to demonstrate collegiality. At the SRI team, we are setting up a peer review college that we can use to form reviewer cohorts and panels to support our internal selection processes in becoming more transparent, inclusive and robust.

Sign up here to become part of the Internal Peer Review College that we are setting up and read more about what's in the form, eligibility questions and more general Q&As in the linked SWAY below.

What's in the form?

The first part of the form consists of a couple of mandatory questions that lets us assess which opportunities might be suitable for you. These pertain to your job type, College, previous experience (if any) and your areas of expertise.

Then you'll be asked if you are interested in a specific opportunity to peer review (see below) - it's the first of many opportunities hopefully!

The final section is non-mandatory and asks for feedback and suggestions on what we could do to make the peer review process more meaningful.

The whole form should not take more than 8-10 minutes at most.

[now closed] Specific opportunity: UKRI CRCRM call round 2

The internal processes for the upcoming UKRI Cross Research Council Responsive Mode call (round 2) was the first of many opportunities to volunteer to peer review.

Those interested in being a peer reviewer for this call were asked to complete the general gorm by 27 August 2024.
