UKRI Future Leaders Fellowships Round 10

UKRI has published the pre-announcement for Round 10 of the FLF, with the deadline on 18 June 2025. College research offices will be able to share an advance copy of the application form we will use for Round 10.

Expressions of Interest

While Round 10 has not yet been officially announced by UKRI, we are anticipating this to have a summer 2025 deadline on the same lines of Round 9. In anticipating of the call opening, the University of Glasgow welcomes interested candidates, both internal and external, to get in touch with their respective four Colleges to let us know of their interest in submitting an application with the University. 

The College research offices will be able to provide a copy of the internal application form that we will be using for Round 10 of this call. Please also let us know if you require this in any other accessible format other than a Microsoft word document.

Please work with your College research support office and your academic sponsor to start working on the internal application form. The deadlines for submission will vary according to College and the internal deadlines will be updated on this website shortly. General contact details can be found below.

Please e-mail the relevant College research support office with the following details and the subject line “FLF Round 10 – Academic Sponsor Enquiry” at the very earliest. In this e-mail, please include your most up-to-date curriculum vitae and the following information:

This funding call is supportive of applicants from diverse career paths, including those returning from a career break or following time in other roles. Furthermore, UKRI encourages applications from those wishing to work part-time or in job shares to combine the fellowship with personal responsibilities. Please feel free to mention any such circumstances that you feel might be relevant to assessing your expression of interest and please let the College Research office know if you require additional support with the preparation of an application.
