Registration

Registry provides support to staff and new students with the registration and enrolment process.

Student Records Team

The Student Records Team, is responsible for supporting the delivery of core Registry work. We manage corporate student systems and co-ordinate related administrative processes to ensure the delivery of Registry services.

Student Immigration Hub

The Student Immigration Hub is responsible for ensuring the University meets its legal requirement to check that all students have valid immigration permission for the UK. It also undertakes engagement monitoring of sponsored students and reporting requirements to UK Visas & Immigration.

Examinations

The Exams Team, located in the Fraser building, is responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of degree examinations. Our team manages all aspects of examination preparation and co-ordinates invigilation to ensure a fair and consitent assessment process. We uphold academic standards while providing support to students throughout their exams.

Graduation and Ceremonial Events

The Graduation and Ceremonial Events team at the University of Glasgow oversees all aspects of graduation ceremonies, from planning and coordination to ensuring everything runs smoothly on the day. Our goal is to provide a memorable and celebratory experience for our graduates and their families.

Financial Aid Team

The Student Financial Aid Team manages over £37 million in annual funding to support students, from sources like the UK Government and US Department of Education. The team distributes over £1.5 million every month.

Student Loans Company

University staff have a responsibility to maintain accurate and up to date student records and to report any changes, so that Registry can notify the Student Loans Company of these changes.

Tuition Fees

The Accounts Receivable Team handles fee collection for all students enrolled in credit-bearing courses, excluding Short Courses.
