Student Records Team

The Student Records Team are located in the Fraser building. We are responsible for supporting the delivery of core Registry business processes through the operation of relevant corporate student systems and co-ordination of related administrative processes.

Examinations

The Exams Team, situated within the Fraser building, plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of degree examinations. We oversee examination preparation, integrity, and invigilation to uphold academic standards and support students throughout their assessment process.

Financial Aid Team

The Student Financial Aid Team oversees £37 million in annual funds, sourced from entities like the UK Government and US Department of Education, to support University of Glasgow students. Comprising five staff members with varying work hours, they manage both weekly and monthly BACS runs, distributing over £1.5 million monthly via the MyCampus system. These funds aim to assist eligible students in completing their studies, with over 4,000 students receiving support in the 2018/19 academic year.

Graduations

The Graduations Team at the University of Glasgow oversees all aspects of graduation ceremonies, from planning and coordination to ensuring a smooth execution on the day of the event, providing a memorable experience for graduates and their families.

Upskilling

University of Glasgow’s SFC Upskilling Project Team facilitates three runs of skills-focussed, demand-led CPD courses annually, with the aim of supporting employees and employers across Scotland to upskill and reskill in response to present-day economic challenges. In particular, the project aims to address skills gaps, unemployment issues and other health and economic adversities following the COVID-19 pandemic and EU exit.
